MY FAVOURITE LAURA MERCIER PRODUCTS

I want to share one of my favourite cosmetic brands Laura Mercier. My skin is very dry and sensitive, so I am extra careful in choosing which beauty products I use. I like classic and easy to wear looks and on this blog, I am rounding up my beauty staples.

1. NOURISHING ROSE OIL

DESCRIPTION:

This healthful formula infuses skin with a blend of super oils to instantly soothe and nourish skin.

HOW IT WORKS:

Rich in Kukui and macadamia seeds oils that reinvigorates the complexion while supporting healthy-looking and glowing skin.

HOW I USE IT:

Gently massage cleansed skin every morning and evening or as needed. I use this as my face moisturiser before putting the Laura Mercier foundation primer.

REVIEW:

I have been using this face oil for two years now. The smell is really nice and makes my skin look more radiant and glowy. The oil doesn’t feel sticky on the face and it moisturises so well.

2. FOUNDATION PRIMER- HYDRATING

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

A light weight creamy gel for dehydrated and/or ageing skin that protects and moisturises the skin from flawless makeup application.

HOW IT WORKS:

Vitamin A, C and E acts as anti-oxidants that protects skin from harmful ageing effect of the environment.

HOW I USE IT:

Always remember to clean your face first, moisturise and then primer before putting any makeup on.

REVIEW:

I have never used a primer since I have learnt how to put makeup on. And when it was introduced to me, primer became one of my makeup essentials now. Not only it hydrates my dry skin, but it also makes my makeup look flawless.

3. TINTED MOISTURIZER- NATURAL SKIN PERFECTOR- SPF 30 SUNSCREEN

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Makes your skin look perfect with a sheer hint of coverage for an effortless no-makeup makeup dewy finish. It blurs imperfection and yet very light-weight.

HOW IT WORKS:

This perfect blend of skincare and makeup improves your skin over time with a Hydrating Complex made up of Macadamia and Kukui Seed Oils that helps increase the skin’s moisture levels long-term for 24 hours of hydration, while reducing the signs of visibly dry skin. The lightweight formula, infused with Tamarind Seed Extract, helps skin retain moisture to prevent water evaporation, for long lasting hydration.

HOW I USE IT:

Place a small amount on the back of your hand and apply to face with clean fingertips or a clean foundation brush. Focus on one area at a time and blend well. I apply this after putting Laura Mercier Foundation Primer.

REVIEW:

My favourite beauty product in the whole world. I don’t really wear heavy foundation and this is a perfect alternative for me, no-makeup makeup. So smooth and light looks amazing! Coverage is light enough to look natural but enough to give me a confidence boost.

4. Translucent Loose Setting Powder

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The number one best selling setting powder makeup that sets for 12 hours with a matte finish.  Pros love the super smooth application, which goes on evenly, blends effortlessly and provides great wear. .

HOW IT WORKS:

This lightweight, finely-milled powder doesn’t add weight or texture to skin. Doesn’t settle into fine lines and never looks cakey.

HOW I USE IT:

I sometimes use it on its own or to set tinted moisturiser. You can use it with a puff or any powder brush, then work the powder into the puff or brush by folding and rubbing the halves together, or by tapping the powdered side vigorously on back of the hand. Gently press puff onto skin, using a rolling motion to “work” the powder in.

REVIEW:

One of the best setting powders I’ve used. Easy to apply, sticks well and you can’t see it. Definitely prolonged my makeup look!

So there we have it, these are my favourite Laura Mercier products. Laura Mercier products can be very pricey, but it can last me for half a year. Do you use any Laura Mercier product? Which one is your favourite?
