It has been almost a month now since we were quarantined here in the U.K. We all needed to stay home and have to work together to fight the pandemic. Most of the businesses are closed, most of us stopped working or maybe lost jobs and some started to work from home. But let’s not forget to thank the essential workers proving themselves to be real-life superheroes.
During this uncertain time, most of us are at home and some of us run out of things to do. All of us in one way or another, getting to grips with new safe routines. There is so much stuff to do at home, you just need to be motivated and in the right frame of mind. I understand some of us feel anxious and do not want to do anything because of the current situation. But you have to continue living and start making yourself occupied. So I wrote down 50 ways to use downtime. I have done some and planning to do the rest.
50 ways to use downtime:
- Plan out quality family time.
- Learn new skills.
- Exercise your body.
- Exercise your mind.
- Disconnect from social media when you are spending time with your family and loved ones.

One thing that I think is more important no matter which activity or task we want to do, we have to give our self a break. Most of us have been working for so many years and now is our opportunity just to sit down and enjoy our free time.
I hope you guys find some great ideas to use your downtime during this time. Thank you so much for taking time to read my blog.
Lots of Love,
