Happiness is a habit, cultivate it

Happiness is a cycle, happy people have happy habits, which make them happy in general and they make their environment happy too. I always believe that happiness doesn’t happen by chance, it is by choice. It is a special skill that anyone can cultivate with the right habits.

Here are my 100 Habits that I do myself to make my life happier: 

  1. Make your bed first as soon as you get up.
  2. Start the day with a positive affirmation.
  3. Write your to-do list for the day.
  4. Enjoy and savour your first coffee of the day.
  5. Meditate.
  6. Clean your bedroom.
  7. Declutter- get rid of the stuff you don’t use.
  8. Listen to your favourite music.
  9. Take your vitamins and supplements.
  10. Set a financial goal.
  11. Save for emergency.
  12. Make a monthly or weekly budget.
  13. Have a savings account.
  14. Don’t talk bad about your colleagues.
  15. Reward yourself.
  16. List what you have accomplished at work.
  17. Raise any issue at work to the person involved.
  18. Give praise and complements to colleagues or to anyone.
  19. Surround yourself with smart people.
  20. Surround yourself with like-minded people.
  21. Smile all the time.
  22. Go to work 15 to 30 mins early.
  23. Plan your day.
  24. Plan your weekly calendar.
  25. Have a diary or planner.
  26. Start with the hardest task.
