7 Habits That Changed My Life

DSCF7796“Take control of your habits, take control of your life”

I would like to share the habits that I’ve adopted and developed myself that helped me become who I am now and changed my life. These habits made me more mature, smarter, relaxed, happier, organised and really changed my life. I wasn’t always this inspired, driven and motivated woman. I used to be so careless, sensitive and unorganised with my life.

I’m on a certain age that I’ve realised how important time and energy are. I have a very busy lifestyle and sometimes I get so overwhelmed. Doing the things that I love during my free time is very essential.  So I have to be smart on how and to whom I am gonna spend it with.

HERE ARE THE 7 HABITS THAT IMPACTED MY LIFE:

I always remind myself that the only way to have a blissful life is to be optimistic. I religiously protect my Zen (read this article) otherwise I will not cope up with anything against my positive self.

                2.  ONE TASK AT A TIME- I used to be unorganised and always finding myself all over the place. I was a multitasker, rushing all the time then get distracted and never finished nothing. I have realised that any tasks that I do must have my 100% attention and do them one at a time. It doesn’t matter how many tasks and how long I can do it, but I make sure that I will do it properly and finish it. I have posted this blog post about procrastination, have a look and you might find it helpful.

              3. FOCUS ON ONE GOAL- Each of us has goals. Whether it’s a long-term or an easy one. Focusing on your goal will inspire you no matter how big or small it is. Setting a goal makes me so excited in life. It makes me work harder and it motivates me to do better. Just remember not to stress yourself too much about your goal, work on what you can slowly but surely. You may have to do some sacrifices to be able to achieve your goals, but I assure it’s all gonna be worth it.

               4. ELIMINATE THE NON-ESSENTIAL- This one is still in progress. I myself is trying to be minimalist. I have started getting rid of some of my belongings that I no longer want and use. I sell them online, give them away or throw them away. This also involves no more shopping non-essentials. This makes me save a lot of money and more room in my wardrobe.

              5. GRATEFUL MINDSET- This goes with having a positive mindset. I am always grateful with everything I have no matter how big or small it is. Having a grateful mindset makes you appreciate every little thing. It can be an achievement, material, life event or anything even the air you are breathing. Being grateful for everything has a good benefit too, it can impact the physical, psychological and social aspects of anyone. I always believe that gratitude is essential for happiness because it means you are content with your life.

                6. TAKING FOOD SUPPLEMENTS- Ok, I admit, I am not getting any younger any more. I do get aches in some part of my body. As I grow older, I have realised that I have to look after my self, be more cautious about my health and well-being. I thank my partner for introducing some supplements to me, now I am feeling much better and aches are gone.

               7. LEARNING NEW SKILLS- I am a strong believer that you should not stop learning no matter how old you are. I like learning new skills and I don’t want to stop learning. I am very ambitious and I like to challenge myself. As part of my goal, I want to learn new skills to be able to achieve it.

At the moment, I enrolled myself in an English course (Business Communication) to be able to improve my English skills and use it in my future business and everyday life.

These habits that I developed are still in progress and trying my very best to make my life easier. I will continue practising all these habits and discover some more. I hope you guys find it helpful and inspirational.

I apologise for being absent for 3 weeks, I haven’t posted anything because I was away. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog post.

Cheers!
